Because preserving our territory is an integral part of our vision of tourism, Gers Armagnac supports and promotes local initiatives committed to the environment and landscapes of Gers.

Gers'ponsable

Gers'ponsable is a local carbon offsetting scheme that allows visitors to contribute concretely to the preservation of the Gers landscapes.
Led by the Gers Departmental Tourism Committee and the Arbre et Paysage 32 association, this project proposes to offset emissions related to tourist travel by financing the planting of trees and hedgerows in the area.

Thanks to a simple calculator, everyone can estimate the carbon footprint of their journey and make a donation to support local projects promoting biodiversity, carbon capture and the preservation of the landscapes of Gers.

This approach is part of a desire to develop more responsible tourism, by raising awareness among visitors and local stakeholders about the environmental impact of travel while supporting concrete and sustainable actions.
