Nicknamed the happy valley, the secret Baïse valley reveals its most beautiful spots of nature, old stones, naps, picnics and encounters!

Starting from the bastide of Valence-sur-Baïse, head towards the Cistercian abbey of Flaran, its monks' wood and its small chapel of old Flaran or Flarembel.

Cross fields and vineyards, immerse yourself in the forest, and voilà! You've arrived at the unique Graziac lock, a truly luxurious picnic spot. Chat with the lock keepers who, from April to October, operate the double lock. The place is ideal for a nap by the water, in the shade of the riparian woods.

Head back up towards the heights of Condom where the Herret airfield stands: new encounters await.
The GR de Pays Cœur de Gascogne will take you back to the bastide, via the Gascon castle and the Romanesque chapel of Tauzia.
