Presentation

Travel "from station to station" on the old railway line which has become Voie Verte, for a total of 33 linear km between the two capitals of Armagnac: Condom and Eauze, or 66 km round trip.

Very easy to access and with a low gradient, this tarmac road is accessible to pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders and other non-motorized vehicles: strollers, scooters, roller skates, etc.

A central section of 2.5 km is labeled Tourism & Handicap for hearing, motor and mental impairments.

The Gers department offers everyone a secure infrastructure dedicated to gentle travel, ideal for your family outings.

Intermediate access car parks allow you to organize your stages: Mouchan car park (km 6.6 with dry toilets), Lauraët car park (km 11.7) and Lagraulet car park (km 18).
Picnic tables complete the equipment, allowing you to spend a full day outdoors.

Dogs must be kept on a leash.

All along the Green Way, between the episcopal city of Condom and the ancient city of Eauze, directional signs will indicate the villages and heritage sites to visit in the surrounding area:
-fortified village of Larressingle,
-village and castle of Cassaigne,
-Romanesque church of Vopillon,
-UNESCO Lartigue bridge,
- Cluniac site of Mouchan,
-village of Lauraët,
-village of Gondrin and its sanctuary of Tonneteau,
-castelnau of Lagraulet-du-Gers,
-bastide of Montreal-du-Gers,
-Romanesque church and tower of Lamothe (with dry toilets).

Attention !!! A portion of the old railway line is not accessible and not developed between the old Montréal-du-Gers station and the Lamothe sector (municipality of Cazeneuve). Follow the directions: a 3.7 km route on a shared road serves as a detour. On this portion shared with cars, remain vigilant and respect the highway code.

We recommend that cyclists wear a helmet and safety vest.

At the start of the Voie Verte de l'Armagnac in Condom, avenue Pierre de Coubertin, two pump tracks will complete your bike ride; a beginner's course for beginners and a more technical course with bumps and curves for experienced riders.
