Certified as a Cultural Route of the Council of Europe, the European Route d'Artagnan has 6 itineraries which retrace the real life of d'Artagnan and the musketeers as well as their lives fictionalized by Alexandre Dumas.
The three roads that cross the Gers form a 3 km loop that links Auch, capital of Gascony, to Lupiac, birthplace of the famous musketeer, then the episcopal cities of Condom and Lectoure, via La Romieu and its collegiate church.
-From Auch to Lupiac, the Route de l'Infante connects Barran, L'Isle-de-Noé, Bazian and Peyrusse-Grande, in 59 km.
-From Lupiac to Condom, the Madame d'Artagnan road links Roquebrune, Vic-Fezensac, Lagardère, Beaucaire, Valence-sur-Baïse, in 70 km, then joins La Romieu via Gazaupouy in 16 km.
-From La Romieu to Auch, the Royal Road links Lectoure, Fleurance, Montestruc, Montaut-lesCréneaux, Montégut, in 82 km.
