Lo Camin de las Hadas, Botanical Trail of the Fairies

Based on local legends of the fairies of the Baïse, the fairy path offers visitors original creations of fairy houses, on a short path with Mediterranean scents.

This promenade connects the Place des Pyrénées which overlooks the Baïse valley to the port of Valence. It unfolds on an old botanical path, redeveloped by the inhabitants since 2022. It houses around sixty fairy houses, but also mini doors and windows in the trees which complete or renew themselves over the seasons. These ephemeral installations, made from natural materials, echo the many fairy legends, "las hadas" in Gascon, which surround the village with their aura.
This place has a unique atmosphere and is planted with various species of trees (the Gingko Biloba or the 40 crown tree, the Service tree, used in cabinetmaking, violin making and the Common Ash, etc.) and many wild orchids which bloom in spring.
