In Lomagne

Northern Lomagne is a sweet territory, where the landscape unfolds beneath your feet... a ribbon full of charm, peaceful. Here the cultivated fields are stitched with hedges which themselves connect to multiple small groves. There are no large dangerous forests, the magic is in the air, on the plate, in the mosaic of cultures, in the benevolent gaze of the Gascon. Here, we live simply and for a long time, in the shade of the limestone facades.

A classic picture but not so much, the monumentality of certain buildings quickly refers to a powerful, glorious past where Counts, Bishops, Cardinals, Bastides, Gascon Castles mingle in a true magical parade. The Collegiate Church of La Romieu alone tells the story of the collusion between almost legendary sumptuous heritage and the small people nestled at its foot.
