The Eauze Treasure Museum houses an extraordinary discovery: a Gallo-Roman treasure weighing 120 kg made up of 28 coins and around fifty jewels and precious objects.
A fabulous treasure displayed in the heart of the town of Eauze!
The Eauze Treasure Museum, inaugurated in 1995, is exceptionally rich in both quality and remarkable state of preservation! It houses one of the most important treasures discovered in France. The Eauze Museum also contains other archaeological collections covering prehistory and daily life in antiquity. Funerary furniture, religious objects, architectural elements, ceramics… A remarkable glimpse into the ancient city of Elusa!
The Treasury Museum is one of the three sites that make up the "ELUSA Ancient Capital" archaeological complex. So, don't hesitate to extend your experience with a visit to the Domus of Cieutat and the Villa of Séviac, the other two ELUSA sites!
