Loop trail of Promenade et Randonnée PR® n°29 starting from the picnic and play area of Maignaut-Tauzia.

Perched high up, the old fortified village of Maignaut-Tauzia opens the doors to the famous neighboring bastide town: Valence-sur-Baïse.
With the dovecote-tollhouse as a landmark, crisscross the Auloue valley, a charming river that will lead you to its Romanesque chapel topped with a bell-gable.
Not far from there, you will walk along the outskirts of the historic site of Tauzia, the remains of a Gascon castle, a testament to this unique and very local defensive architecture.
Once back on the heights, you will enter the village through the beautiful medieval gate-tower to return to your starting point, at the foot of the Saint-Michel church.
