Canicross trail-running course starting from the port of Valence-sur-Baïse; 12 km; 98m elevation gain.
Recommended route with your dog to enjoy a beautiful grassy section on the Sentier de la Baïse!

Starting from the port of Valence-sur-Baïse, cross the bridge and follow the signs for the Sentier de la Baïse (Baïse Trail) towards Condom. Upon reaching Flaran Abbey, cross the Baïse River again. You will then find the old grassy towpath, now the Sentier de la Baïse. Continue to the double lock at Graziac, where you will cross the canal and then the river. A section of paved road leads to a series of wooded areas, cool in summer. When you reach a vineyard, turn left and rejoin the paved road that climbs towards the Flarembel Chapel. Take the opportunity to explore this charming chapel and its neighboring castle (water is available in the cemetery). All that remains is to enter the Bois des Moines (Monks' Wood), cross it, and rejoin the Sentier de la Baïse at Flaran Abbey. Please note that the paved section is busy!

Details concerning animals This route is suitable for Canicross as a large portion of it is grassy. If you prefer a purely grassy terrain, start the route from the Graziac double lock for a total of approximately 8 km.
