In the heart of the Grand Site Occitanie "Armagnac, Abbey and Cities", discover one of the emblematic places of Gascony.

Located just 6 km from Condom, 5 km from Flaran Abbey and 35 minutes from Auch, this historic château, surrounded by more than 30 hectares of vines, tells the story of centuries of history and winemaking expertise.
Built in the 13th century by Montassin de Goalard, abbot of Condom, it was the country residence of the bishops of Condom until the French Revolution.
In 1819, Bertrand Duviard, a descendant of a line of surgeons who had been living in Cassaigne since the 16th century, acquired it. His descendants still own it today.
The current facade, with its classic and harmonious lines, inspires calm and serenity.

Immerse yourself in the history of this exceptional place through an exhibition retracing the life of the château and the ancestral techniques of Armagnac production.
In the oldest room, with its ceiling supported by three semicircular arches, an 18th-century cellar still houses aging barrels of Armagnac. Watch an immersive film about the vineyard, then be surprised by a unique sensory experience exploring the aromas and scents of the wine. Don't miss the 16th-century kitchen, famous for its brick vaulted ceiling built in the style of a baker's oven—a masterpiece of Gascon architecture.
The visit ends with a tasting of wines and Armagnacs from the estate, offered in the shop.

“Wine and Armagnac” Guided Tour

A complete experience combining history, terroir and tasting.
Take a walk through the vineyard to discover the local grape varieties: Manseng Noir, Colombard, Ugni Blanc, Baco, etc.
In the 18th-century cellar, discover the secrets of Armagnac distillation, before ending in the 16th-century kitchen for a guided tasting of 4 wines and 2 Armagnacs (12-year-old and vintage).
