AROUND PARDAILHAN - Mountain biking - FFC 9 - Beaucaire

Ténarèze Mountain Bike Loop No. 9 starting from the Beaucaire canoe base; 15.3 km / 1h20; BLUE route; 216 m elevation gain.

Starting from the old port of Beaucaire, leave the Baïse valley for the Bèze valley, dominated by the ruined Pardailhan castle (private). The "Les Clés des Champs" landscape discovery art installation offers an unusual panorama of the "castle of colors" and the neighboring village of Bezolles.
Once you arrive on the plateau, groves offer you numerous sections of singletrack trails without any real technical difficulties, while still maintaining a playful character.
The majority of the positive elevation gain is concentrated on the first part of the route, the return to the Baïse valley is easier.

The views are remarkable and old stones are everywhere. You might find a water source halfway along the route, in the old cemetery of the hamlet of Pardailhan.
