The only navigable river in the Gers, the Baïse still resonates with the voices of the boatmen maneuvering on the towpath. And the double Graziac lock becomes the link between the episcopal city of Condom and the Cistercian abbey of Flaran nestled at the foot of the
bastide of Valence-sur-Baïse.
