Les Arroucasses - Gîte d'Etape

Gîte d'étape at the entrance to Castelnau-sur-l'Auvignon on the GR65, welcoming and ideal for pilgrims, with table d'hôte, varied rooms, large wooded park, swimming pool and possibility of camping.

Located at the entrance to Castelnau-sur-l'Auvignon, directly on the GR65 hiking trail towards Santiago de Compostela, this gîte (hostel) offers a peaceful and friendly stopover. André and Jeannine welcome walkers and travelers for a pleasant break and also offer a set menu dinner, ideal after a day of hiking.

The gîte has four bedrooms with a total capacity of twelve people: two bedrooms with three single beds each, one bedroom with two single beds and a double bed, and one bedroom with two single beds. One of the guest rooms is Clévacances certified.

The house opens onto a large, wooded park, perfect for camping in a natural setting, with beautiful panoramic views over the Auvignon Valley. Covered terraces, a pergola, a swimming pool, and other outdoor spaces offer numerous places to relax. Parking is available, with the option of leaving your vehicle for the duration of your trip.

To make hikers' stay more comfortable, a large outdoor clothesline is available in good weather. In case of rain, shoes and clothing can be dried in a heated room provided for this purpose. This place combines peace, simplicity, and a warm welcome, in keeping with the spirit of the trail.
