Land of festivals, traditions and character, Gers is the parent of the oldest eau-de-vie in France: Armagnac!
The vineyard, a thousand years old, was able to find a second youth forty years ago, and offer us these typically Gers magic potions. The department is divided into three terroirs: Bas Armagnac, Haut Armagnac and Ténarèze. The latter, due to the diversity of their soils, create, from aperitifs to digestives, beverages with fresh and fruity aromas.
The friendly Gers residents never see red! The wine is 90% white. Côtes de Gascogne are also among the most exported white wines throughout the world, and particularly among our northern European neighbors.
However, they are not the only Gers luminaries. Indeed, Floc de Gascogne is also the element required for a successful meal among the Gersois. Tasted as an aperitif, this drink is the result of a happy marriage between young Armagnac and fresh grape juice. Its name comes from the Gascon “Lou Floc” which means “bouquet of flowers”. Perfect for ushering in the return of spring, don't hesitate to try it out in innovative cocktails.
Floc, Côtes de Gascogne wines and Armagnac, it's basically a story of reunion with the people we love and a way to celebrate the territory, its producers and its History. It is therefore a beautiful love story that we invite you to discover or rediscover.
