Weekend Introduction to Ceramic Throwing

Over two days, we invite you to discover the fascinating world of ceramics in the exceptional setting of the Domaine de la Malvina, located in the heart of the Gers region. You will have the opportunity to explore pottery wheel techniques, develop your manual skills, and unleash your creativity.

2-day program:

Day 1

From 9:30 to 10:00 Coffee break
From 10:00 to 11:00 Introduction to the practice of filming
From 11:00 to 12:30: Centering, opening and cylinder assembly
Lunch from 12:30 to 14:00 PM
From 14:00 PM to 16:30 PM: Cylinder work
From 16:30 p.m. to 17:00 p.m. Cleaning of one's workspace
Free time from 17:00 PM to 19:30 PM
Dinner at 19:30 PM

Day 2

Breakfast from 8:00 to 9:30
From 9:45 to 10:15 Introduction and demonstration of turning
From 10:15 am to 12:00 pm: Turning of your pieces + turning
Lunch from 12:00 to 13:30 PM
From 13:30 p.m. to 14:00 p.m. Introduction to ceramic decoration
From 14:00 PM to 16:00 PM: Set design + filming
From 16:00 p.m. to 16:30 p.m. Cleaning of one's workspace
From 16:30 PM onwards, the weekend ends.
