Flaran Abbey - Sweet Summer Hours

We'll meet again for this new meeting of the Douces Heures Estivales in Flaran, at 18 p.m.

For its 10th edition, the Douces Heures Estivales event offers you a journey between the fortified town of Valence and the abbey of Flaran, around dance, music and song!

On the evening's program:
- From 18:30 p.m. to 20 p.m.: From the port to the Abbey park, on the Baïse path, musical entertainment and an introduction to traditional dances, mainly Occitan.
Free/Registration required/Return to the abbey in case of rain.
- From 20:00 p.m. to 20:45 p.m.: picnic from the bag
- From 20:45 p.m. to 21:30 p.m.: Gascon ball in the abbey with the group Aquò Que Sona

- From 21:30 p.m. to 22:00 p.m.: sign song with Emma and Marie, in the abbey church.

The Sweet Summer Hours are organized by the Gers Departmental Council in partnership with the town hall of Valence-sur-Baïse and the Ténarèze tourist office.

Additional information:
For added convenience, park your vehicle in the Flaran Abbey parking lot in the early evening. Between 18:00 p.m. and 18:20 p.m., a shuttle will drop you off at the port of Valence-sur-Baïse for the start of the entertainment. You can then pick up your vehicle directly at Flaran Abbey at the end of the evening.
