Gloria by Vivaldi and Cantata BWV No. 4 by Bach

In the setting of the church in Terraube, the Quatuor Opale offers an intimate reinterpretation and
luminous from two masterpieces of the baroque repertoire: Vivaldi's Gloria and the Cantata
Bach's BWV 4. Premiered at the Nuits Musicales en Armagnac in 2023 with the program
French Touch, the group brings together four singers with some of the most remarkable voices in the
French operatic scene. Their rapport and the unique sound of Julien's accordion
Beautemps cast a new eye on these works: an interpretation "one per voice", at
both lyrical and chamber music, which allows us to rediscover the fervor of Vivaldi's Gloria and the
meditative depth of Bach's Cantata.
