Budding astronomer colony: first steps

A week-long stay among the stars to discover astronomy in a simple and fun way. The numerous activities will alternate between essential knowledge and workshops such as observing the sky through telescopes, or even various construction projects.

Also on the agenda for this introductory astronomy camp is the launch of a level 1 micro-rocket capable of flying up to 200 meters in altitude and reaching speeds of nearly 180 km/h. During their stay, participants will visit the Cité de l'Espace (Space City) in Toulouse, accompanied by an instructor. The tour includes exploring the Mir space station, full-scale models of spacecraft, and satellites. IMAX film screenings and a planetarium show are also included in the visit.
