“With WONDERS OF TALES, What stories REALLY say, I had the desire to revisit the tales of our childhood.
The memory I had of them made them both attractive and repulsive to me.
In my naivety, I thought I already knew them.
And then there was this question that kept coming back:
If these stories were truly for children, why this feeling of unease, this violence, these misunderstandings?
Very quickly, they were the ones who led me: through their simplicity, their power, their magic.
The woman I have become today finally understands the path they want us to discover, to travel.
