Three artists from Gers are using their respective talents as a musician, actress and visual artist to create a unique work – a participatory show about a still taboo subject, death.
The Bistro of the Afterlife is inspired by "death cafes", a concept invented by Bernard Crettaz.
Swiss ethnologist and sociologist, specialist in the rites and customs that accompany death in society.

Because, as everyone knows, we go to the bistro to confess the essentials while appearing nonchalant.

The audience will be invited to participate in the theatrical ritual through their presence, their bodies, their voices, and their words. The three actresses offer a cathartic journey through a shared, multisensory experience, which will sometimes take the form of a convivial exchange.
