The Stuffed Flute - Cie À pied d'œuvre

The Les Orages performance hall, located in Lectoure in the former tannery, offers a family show.
Minimum age: 6 years

Two performances of the show are offered:
— Friday, February 19 in Fleurance, as part of the city's cultural season (reservations to be made directly with the town hall)
— Saturday, February 20th at Orages

Prince Tamino is tasked by the Queen of the Night with rescuing her daughter, Princess Pamina, held captive by the supposed tyrant Sarastro… The company À pied d'œuvre revisits this wonderful tale through paper theatre, transposing the original Masonic universe into the esoteric imagination of the painted works of the artist Jean Diego.

All the characters and sets are figures painted on paper, manipulated in full view by two actors, Laeticia Brécy and Jean Diégo, positioned on either side of the stage. They lend their voices to all the characters, making them move and express their emotions in a highly committed performance.

This free adaptation of Emanuel Schikaneger's The Magic Flute is intended for adults and children alike, from age 6 and up!
