The Les Orages performance hall, located in Lectoure in the former tannery, offers you a play.
Theatre - Solo performance

This adaptation of Victor Hugo's landmark novel, Les Travailleurs de la mer (Toilers of the Sea), tells the extraordinary story of a man's struggle with two superior forces: the sea and love.
Gilliatt, a gruff yet sensitive fisherman, is in love with Déruchette, the daughter of the owner of a ship wrecked on the English coast. To win her hand, he braves the elements, risking his life to recover a precious machine from the wreck. Victorious over the waves, will he also win the young woman's heart?

Elya Birman tackles this legendary tale head-on, delivering its powerful, Hugoesque energy. A great upheaval of the soul!
